I am just starting out on my descent into the rabbit hole and already seem to be too far in and unable(or is it unwilling) to get out of it. I have been interested in the dolls since seeing a RealDoll documentary a long time ago.

I have recently placed an order with TDH for Phil to arrange for my Callie to be safely escorted to me, hopefully arriving mid to late March.
She is a delightful 24 year old who has a #266 head on a light tan wm166c body. Callie's sister, Joanna, is accompanying her, but she hasn't picked her favourite body yet, so will only be arriving with her #273 head.

They have agreed to share the body for now, but I don't think it will take long before they borrow my credit card to resolve the issue. Joanna has expressed a liking for the wm157b but might enjoy her sister's wm166c so much that she demands a matching one.

Callie has already ordered numerous items on my card to be ready for their arrival, shoes, boots, dresses, underwear and to my surprise, tampons. Knowing her, it will be something strange like cornflour next!

You certainly have a type as do you realise that both #266 and #273 are based on the same real person... I don't know who the real person is but the person who designed those two heads told me that :tu

Both the WM 166C and WM 1557B are great bodies but for me its WM 166C every time. I bought the 166C when it was first released spending the money that I had saved for a 157B.

Same thing happened repeatedly. Every time that I saved the money for a 157B Jinsan released another great girl that got to the money first.

Finally got the 157B last year and whilst its great I am glad that I bought the 166C first as that body is an absolute masterpiece and a work of design wizardry in the way that it seems lighter than it actually is.

I just got a cheap Kimber doll to see how it goes, and i love that doll already! She is always with me 24/7 when I'm at home. Either cuddling on the couch or spooning around her at night. Its so much better than sleeping alone.


Already learned so much about how to look after her. I've made mistakes, for example she has a broken (wired) finger, lost an eyelash and got staining on her arms from the couch! I will be looking at putting the staining and eyelash right as maintenance is part of ownership. New doll should have articulated hands which hopefully will be a lot stronger.



Then you have to learn to dress a grown woman, put on makeup, wash her hair and body every month (and after use of course), maintain her skin with oil and powder and vasaline her joints and such like. Not that its a chore to oil and powder a naked woman :drool

If i love this temporary doll, gawd knows what I'll be like when I get the doll of my dreams!

I knew there was a reason I was having such a tough time choosing between them, it was her eyes that really attracted me to her. When I found that there was a free head promotion on, I just had to get one of each.
On searching here for #266 and #273, I found http://www.uklovedollforums.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=15609 and realised why I had been having problems choosing.

I think I am in trouble, it seems she has the combined tastes of both your Emma and Gavla82's Chloe. When she arrives, I will have to restrict her internet access to either shein or everything5pounds.

To be honest, Chloe may look like she has expensive tastes, but Shein, Primark, eBay, Charity shops and kind donations are what keeps my girls in check with their clothes and shoes...although Chloe is the shoe queen..Elena does get to wear some...when Chloe allows.:21 but Shein is a great shop...dangerous...but great.

Even their make up, brushes and accessories are from B&M and Homebargains. They just happy to have a loving home and not stuck in a cardboard box in a warehouse.

Ooh, advice. If your girls come with a fleecy blanket, use it on the bed if you intend to have the girls sleeping with you. They do have a tendency of leaving their mark (tpe oil/sweat stains). Adam can attest to butt prints on walls and fireplaces.

For wall protection the polystyrene blocks that come in their boxes are perfect to use as spacers... Hang on a sec, sure that I have a pic of that somewhere...

Here are Callie and Joanna's first photos, they asked me to just show shoulders up as they felt a bit exposed, judging by what I have seen, it must be cold where they are :whistle:

Callie decided to be a brunette today, while Joanna thought blondes had more fun, who am I to argue with them when they both look so good.

Your girls look lovely, and I am sure they will have you getting them the second body in a real jiffy.

Speaking of rabbit holes, you are more than likely on a fast descent when getting that second body, as I suspect it may come with two more heads that will also need bodies........ Just sayen:whistle:

Hi Joe, the rabbit hole feels like home and I have no intentions of trying to get out.

The second body with two more heads has been on my mind, sure the second body will give Joanna one of her own, but then I will have two other needy girls, requiring two more bodies that will arrive with four heads, needing four bodies, compounding the problem.

I will keep digging, surely the rabbit hole will stop somewhere:21
