Underwear... underwhere?

Hey all,

If I could trouble the doyen's with a clothing question: where have people found a good place to buy small (I guess xxs or smaller) underpants?

Safira is barely 50cm around the waist and whilst it is easy enough to procure "girls" knickers that fit - they are just basic knickers and, understandably, not especially... tantalising shall we say.

I love the look of lace, French knickers and am partial to a thong but I'm coming up empty. Any ideas?

I didn't even consider M&S! Irritatingly they've recently moved the clothes section from 'in town' to an 'out of town' site.

I go to the Primark in Oxford occasionally and have snagged some good general clothes (t-shirts, jeans etc) but the underpants section always looks like a bomb has recently gone off in there and I have to spend a lot longer than I would like going through the wreckage! Even a pack of the XXS thongs I got for Katja seem a little on the generous size so I think I'll have to get a needle and thread out or try boiling them down a size or two.

If you have some to practice on then get the needle and thread out and give it a try. Sewing them first means that if it doesn't work then you can unpick and try again:tu What have you got to lose? And the satisfaction of taking something that doesn't work and making it work is second to none.

I find that Primark can be a bit hit & miss.

I bought two pairs of knickers awhile ago. Both size XSmall (6-8). One pair fits perfectly. The other was too big.

XXS size clothing seems to be a rarity although it is stated as available on the sizing tags.

My girl will have a wm166c when she arrives and am looking at underwear for her, probably get xxs or xs and stitch to size if needed, but unsure on the bra.
What size bra fits well, I have looked at a few calculators, but nothing seems right, or available. Is a 28D, 28DD or 30C anything near?
Hope you can help me find the right one, I would really hate her feeling exposed and vulnerable :whistle:

2 of my girls are 166c. They wear 2xs or size 4. They even have a few items from the teen section. Between 10 and 12 years. 28d bra fits perfect. 30c is also good. Sometimes i just buy something that i like and alter it to fit.

Cheers! Josie is wearing a 30C there. I haven't tried 30D or 28D, but 30C cups seem barely big enough, band size seems just fine though.

Bear in mind that our girls dont have boobs that work like real boobs.

Real boobs squish, and can be lifted by a bra, upon which they will take the form the bra provides (kinda the point of a bra)

Dolly Boobs (Even Maddies squishy handfulls) dont move in the same way, sadly. So getting a bra to well is something of Trial and Error as they may measure as a 30C or a 32DD but the bra manufacturer is assuming the breast will form to the cup, and our girls boos dont squish about quite like that.
