Linking to the last post in a thread using the thread link as shown in the bb code list

That links to the first post in a thread. Is it possible to link to the (ever moving) last post?

You can link to the last post - as it is now, but I'm not aware of any dynamic link being available.

What is your reason for linking to the last post of a thread? Anyone can click on 'view first unread' but going to the last post would miss out any unread posts along the way. You can link directly to a specific post in a thread but not the last in an ongoing and active thread.

Good point, sometimes Mr Tex is a bit silly!

Actually: Replace 'xxxxx' with your thread id. This will always hit the last post in a thread.
