HQ Version of Kimber wig?

After some prodding on the iDOME and a bit of fighting the tangles, it's time to get my Kimber a better quality wig than the one she came with. However, I am totally ignorant of the words used for wigs, and if I look at Amazon there is a huge variety that I just see as a shapeless mass of wigs - far too much choice :( All I want is a better quality version of Kim's own wig; ideally exactly the same style, length, etc., but a decent material made by a reputable make rather than a basic nylon one made in a sweatshop in the far east.

Please can anyone point me to the nearest thing to a 'quality' equivalent to the Kimber Wig in the £15-30 price range?

In the £15 to £30 price range you're going to get fairly similar stuff in my experience.

I guess the next step up is a human hair wig, which is a bit more expensive but I've heard from a few that it's rather nice.

This. Although some good wigs can be had for that price range, they will have been made in a sweatshop. For synthetic wigs that have not been made in a sweatshop, you'll be looking at a much higher price; sometimes, the same or more than a human hair wig.
My lady eventually went with human hair wigs, costs a few hundred, but there has been no looking back.

During the marathon of the last iDome, which I was awake and sobber, pissed, asleep and snoring loudly, awake half drunk, talking bollocks, then okay for a short while Sunday afternoon before been pissed out my mind again, did I really drink two whole boxes of Shiraz

Anyhow, I have a small love affair with wigs

I don't buy many blondes myself, but it's only because I have a few blond wigs and order different ones.

my favourite brand to of wig at the moment is Up trending wigs, https://www.ebay.co.uk/b/Uptrending-...635/bn_1527800

Uptrending wigs

the two other places that I use are

https://www.wiwigs.co.uk/

https://www.studio7uk.com/

they do have ebay seller where it can work out cheaper for one wig.

Cheers

Not so, Chloes hair which was suggested by Karrot was about £20 off Amazon and it's beautifully soft, realistic looking and doesn't have that plastic sheen to it like the cheaper ones do.

Haircube/Esmee on Amazon are really good. When I have the funds, I will be buying Elena an auburn hair for her. :)

Thanks, Tommo; I don't suppose you know the technical words for a Kimber wig? I have no idea what to look for: 'style', 'parting type', 'bangs', 'bobs'; the ads for wigs on every site I go to might as well be written in Klingon

EDIT: Though this one looks quite close to my untrained eye, if not quite as long: https://www.studio7uk.com/product-pa...mid-length-wig

You can find some amazing bargains from time to time.

The blonde bob wigs my twins wear cost just over £30 each (maybe £35) and are "Inspired by Natural Image" brand (retails for about £180ish normally) in size "mini petite".

I found those on Amazon, the almond mist colour that I got was that price, while other colours were much more expensive. Looking again now the prices are back up to £200, so I guess it was a case of right place right time.

This is the wig/colour that I snagged for £35 at the end of last year

I hate baggy wigs so I only look at petite, or ideally mini petite wigs. The bobs fit the girls' heads perfectly, no slipping, no bunching round the back.

I quite often search Amazon/Ebay for "petite wig" and see if I spot any bargains. I have quite a few that haven't been in any pics yet.

I'd say this https://www.amazon.co.uk/HAIRCUBE-St...544065&sr=8-53 is pretty similar to Kims hair, or this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/HAIRCUBE-St...544165&sr=8-98

Kims hair would be long, blonde, straight. :) :tu

for a basic wig you could always consider buying Jinsan wigs from Phil.

£10 a pop. Not really had a problem with them but I do use a different wig for them to wear in the day to what they go to bed in at night if they condescend to sleep with me.

In my experience 11# is shit. Never had a 6#, 10# or 15#

All of the others are a lot better than the images. They're not great wigs but in general they're not bad.

The closest to Kimbers is 9# but I would probably opt for 1# instead.

Shamus.

p.s. lol Tommo... ahh, last weekend... I don't remember it well :21:24
