Lovedoll UK Communication Lines Down???
 

Hi,

As a previous customer of Lovedoll UK I had thought them a trusty UK supplier.

Previous comments on this forum have also suggested as such, but now I am a little alarmed to say the least...

I've recently purchased a barely used doll from them. payment all up front.

That was on the 15/11/2021.

The order stated "UPS will be in touch"... now :wtf

NO contact from UPS. Nothing. Not a sniff.

NO contact from Lovedoll UK despite FIVE previous emails, 4 attempts at messaging them via their own ‘contact us’ website app and 2 attempts using their own "online chat" "Jane". I still am being met with a wall of silence. :wall

Any idea if they have ceased trading?

Anyone else out there experiencing similar issues or is it just me?

Any replies from the community would be reassuring... and :welcome

Graham is still trading, he can be a bit slow to respond at times, are you a member over on TDF? Graham posts on that site more frequently than here, the last was Friday 3rd Dec, he was answering some simple questions regarding slow responses to emails.

Regarding the preloved doll you are buying, In most cases Graham is only advertising the dolls on behalf of the sellers and takes his cut out of the transaction, from what I gather he holds the money from both parties until the transaction is complete.

He's built up a reasonable reliable reputation in the UK over many years, he's also a listed paid up vendor on TDF. My personal opinion is he was pretty good upto the early part of 2020, Covid struck and getting him to answer for whatever reason at certain times can be very hit or miss.

Have included email addresses in majority of my emails.
Appreciate there may be sickness etc, but have not heard ANYTHING in a month.
Really disappointed.

looking at the system you've already been refunded but I think there's a definite issue with comms, I need to take a good look at this and see what we can improve

I would be very wary of buying anything from Lovedoll_co_uk nor expect to see any any product you have bought being delivered.
I ordered a used doll just before Xmas but then decided very quickly to cancel the order. The cancellation was ignored totally and I was fobbed off with delay excuse after excuse. I have had no communication for over a month, no refund and no delivery of goods. I even employed the services of TDF admin as mediator but they received no reply whatsoever. In short Graeme is a crook preying on his customers with false promises and I would urge members to give him a wide berth.

i spoke to graham a couple of times when buying my emma and he was the nicest and most helpful guy. if its used doll sale then the issue must be with the seller

I've always found Graham to be of the highest standards.

Clearly a glitch at the moment but I've had no smidgeon of doubt about him.

Looking further at the Google search suggested this was a case of public misunderstanding and possible motives for prosecution beyond the reality. "The company was tried in its absence as neither the owner nor his legal representative attended court." says it all. The doll industry has been under the spotlight particularly from unpleasant women such as that so-called Professor know-it-all who's a very unattractive example of the human race and thinks she knows it all. All except about men, of course. The likes of her have set up horrible prejudice and Graham probably thought it a waste of time to fight such.
