Default lipstick

So is lipstick on tpe dolls a no-no ? If not how difficult would black lippy be to remove? If its a eyeshadow as lippy route would that also be a bugger to remove?

All my girls wear lippy.

I use bristle oil painting brushes to apply it and larger water colour brushes to smooth it (an adaptation of advice from Mandos).

if you cover it with vaseline or lip balm the colour will seep into the lips making it semi permanent (emphasis on semi). I don't do that though.

Comes off with Extra virgin Olive Oil and a microfibre cloth without any issue.

Is there a problem with it I don't know about?

eye shadow with baby oil as a thinner is good as well. I've used eye shadow without thinner and whilst it works it takes a bloody age to get right.

Hope something in the above helps.

All the best,

Shamus.

Thanks Shamus and Algae. The main reason I bought a spare head from Haremlover was for a specific project involving black lips. I would like Dion to return to her natural lip shade after a while though.

I do put some on my Ex-lite girl, seemingly without problems.

I only ever used powder make up on Xiaoli when he was in her first TPE incarnation. It doesnt have the sheen of lipstick of gloss, but you are guaranteed it wont leech in to the TPE and stain.

As Shamus says, it's a bugger to apply dry though. I found using a foam applicator was best for it as it never 'flicked' when you can to an edge

I used to use baby oil to remove, or mah kisses!

Hi Phil,
I have used Pout matters lip colouring, and aswell as easy to apply and remove, it smells like different fruits. It stays on for several days or even weeks depending, before fading.
Regular lipsticks stay on aswell, but have to be applied as mentioned or on their own, quite a lot and thickly.
I also use Micellar cleansing water. That removes make up, lipstick and anything including stains very effectively.
There isn't a make up or lipstick on the market that can't be removed unless you want to spend a small fortune on the pro make up the likes of Madame Tussauds uses But cleansing water would remove even that, i bet

Hi, waspie. Can you confirm whether this could be used on tpe or only sili ladies? I'm thinking of getting some.

Hi Ecobod.
It works on tpe/wms, but i imagine it's quite safe on silicone aswell, but better to test on a small piece of silicone or discreet part of a doll first, but i'd be surprised if anything adverse were to happen
