Default Dr Frankenjock

This is a follow-on from Adam & Emma's thread about Halloween.

Adam & Emma's Halloween thread

Here...

https://www.uklovedollforums.co.uk/f...ad.php?t=17404

To re-cap, some time ago Adam sent me a head by post, The postie said "This one's a bit niffy. You got a new supplier since they hung your previous man? "

(Editors note : Reference to Edinburgh body snatcher's Burke & Hare)

Head a bit messy, hair all matted with dried blood. Will have to give it a good wash and maybe a wee trim.

Not a lost cause though, I'll get my machine from the attick that I used in my "splitting the atom" days. A modified Wimshurst.

The electricity company won't let me use the Van De Graaf, as it blacks- out the street and they're not taking the blame again.

My chum Spike is going to assist me with this procedure, She has her PPE on. We call her " Spike " down Leith, but she also answers to " Igorivich ". She came here as a refugee, says she used to be a lab-assistant to some Austrian experimenter.

Wipe off cobwebs and a quick test to see if it still works. Spike on the wheel.....

That's why you need a welding mask !

You may ask why not use traditional lightning ?

Answer is (1) Not reliable - May have to wait for months to get a storm.. Subject has to be reasonably fresh to get good result.

(2) Too many amps, Don't want to cook lunch, I'm Dr Frankenjock BCh, MD, FRSE, a respectable medical professional, Not Sawney Bean. (Editors note : Sawney Bean - patriarch of family of cannibals who lived in sea-cave in SW Scotland in the 16th Century)

(3) Not controllable, with Wimshurst I just need to spin a bit faster to get more measurable KV.

Right, here's head cleaning up, hair combed... Puts head on machine....We'll give it a go....

Spin it Spike !!!

Getting better !!

Sorted, Multimeter stuck on last reading.. Just comb the hair...

Hair has grown a bit !!

Right ! Now dressed and we are off to the beach !

"How do i look" ?

She does not remember anything of her previous life. Now she has taken up sea-bathing and joined the Porty Porpoises.. (Editors note : a keen ladies group of sea bathers from Portobello - summer and winter, In Scotland for God's Sake!)

She says the cold water shock is invigorating, just like being brought back from the dead! Funny that..

I won't tell her if you don't..

Have a happy Halloween....

From Dr Frankenjock, Spike and Elektra (new name)

I would just like to record my thanks to Sam for helping me uploading pics and narrative, as in spite of managing to do it a couple of times before, I got stuck again.
(but that doesn't mean you've all to jump on the bandwaggon and chase him to help get your stuff published - he's a busy man and knows you are all capable of doing it yourself. I'm afraid modern tech has just passed me by - I'm much happier with the old ways).
Jock.

Awesome! (and so much more successful than Dr Norris Norristein who only managed to make a little monster that ran off with a Jessabel!)

Now, go make sure her bolts and your nuts are at the correct tightness!

I tend to use more traditional methods (if there is such a thing) to bring our girls to life, but I must say that your method does appear somewhat quicker than mine.

The Living Tribunal prefers invoking the Cosmic Powers of Eternity for this sort of thing, but it's good to see enthusiasts with the confidence to do it their way
