Youqdoll & CST open box review

Over the next few weeks I will be writing three reviews of the new dolls I have purchased over the last few months, I don't buy that many new dolls, most of the dolls here are preloved, I never write reviews about those, over the times I have done some sort of review for each new doll that arrives.

Over Christmas I bought an Irontech 166D ( Neodoll Racy - Elf Scarlet with an addition Viola head)

Last week I purchase two Silicone dolls, a CST 165 with head C21 Yael, she's goes under the name of April on Lucidtoys site.

I am starting with Youqdoll 165cm Hadassah, the reason for this is, she was my wildcard, I didn't know what to expect, I didn't know if I was doing the right thing, it was a purchase made on the back of a photoshoot and the need for that girl in the photo in my life. I was into the unknown without anybody here I could think of to ask questions, where the CST my questions fell on Poppy's lap and I had no doubt I had made the right decision on the CST. Hadassah is a big purchase, I didn't sleep well Friday night, it was excitement, anticipation, have I done the right thing, also, I should have moved the other dolls out of the way Friday night, so I could get the boxes in on Saturday, It only took 40 mins Saturday morning to sort it, instead I lay awake half the night worrying how the hell I was going to get both boxes through the house and have room to unbox them.

Okay, I made my Purchase on Saturday 19th Feb from Lucidtoys, the dolls could have been ready for despatched Monday for Tuesday delivery, however, I was working, my hols for the year are booked up, so I required Saturday delivery, they both were delivered by DPD the morning of Saturday 26th, you are given a one hour time slot, you are kept informed by Lucidtoys and DPD of the delivery. Lucidtoys service was excellent throughout.

Hadassah is a 165cm Youqdoll full silicone doll, she's got standing feet with bolts, shrugging shoulders, implanted hair, stunning hand-painted details, better than any other doll I own, the seam lines are just excellent, she's up with my Gynoid and 4Woods, those dolls are close on twice her price. Her wire fingers are good quality. This manufacturer owns set of torque wrenches and they know how to use them, the skeleton joint movement is perfection, please will you share your knowledge with Gynoid. The silicone is really silky soft, the best I have ever touched, her breasts are gel and jiggle about a lot, perfect.

I haven't looked this up, Shamus please correct me if I am been an idiot and talking rubbish, when buying a doll if size and shape are important factors, then I realised yesterday she very close in size and shape to the WM166c, I will take a photo at some point with them standing next to each other, it's a size and shape many members like.

This an amazing doll, the manufacturer have made her well, Lucidtoys have done a great job finding them and stocking them in the UK.

I am a bit unsure of the link in branding etc, however, Harem did an excellent review of 165 Futuredoll here http://www.uklovedollforums.co.uk/fo...ght=futuredoll the dolls are basically the same, the youqdolls sold by Lucidtoys are top spec. models, the connection I realised after buying the doll, otherwise I would have asked Harem for more details.

A few unboxing photos and a few words.


The box.


You get an envelope with gloves and instruction on how to check the doll,
please don't get all excited, take your time,
read all the instructions first, put the gloves on and check the doll, slowly and carefully.



Harem mentions the packaging been excellent in his review, it is excellent, that really does matter,
this doll was QC checked before traveling from Oxford, she was in perfect condition,
she arrived here in Staffordshire in the exact same perfect condition, good job really,
because the doll experts here will notice some space in the bottom of the box,
that is because she travelled neck down on the journey up to me,
I have had other dolls travel neck down in previous years, their packaging wasn't up to much and needed repairing from the moment they arrived.







On a flat clean table check the head,
My table isn't ever clean or clear from junk, it is flat though.





At this point you cut the bag and check the movement of the doll before lifting her out the box.
I was getting her out the box before I realised I have forgot to take photos of those checks.

It will say to lift her out of the box, I have never lifted a standing doll with bolts in her feet out of any box recently,
I spent an evening trying to get a +50kg IT doll out of a box in my hallway a few years back,
I was very nearly in the box with her several times and don't talk to me about lack of space and box flaps in any order.
Since then, I shut the box, lift the doll box up so the doll is inside the box in the standing position,
I open the flaps of the box like in the photo below,
then just lift the doll forward out the box, and place her standing against the wall with foam supporting her.



Yes, you should check her feet properly first before you get her out the box, I could tell they were okay,
by this point I had worked out that all Friday nights wondering and worrying was unnecessary,
she was bloody perfect and staying no matter what, her feet will be in shoes,
they will not be seen again if there was anything wrong with them, which there wasn't.

The paint on her hand looked a little orange on photos, in real life it's not that bad, very difficult to photograph though.



The realistic veins are even harder to take photo of.

I also weighed her today, it was pretty pointless weighing her slippers, so I did

176g


32.3kg minus the 176g and her knickers and bra which are possibly heavier than the slippers.



I am very pleased with her, she's an extremely well made doll, right up there with some higher price tagged Chinese silicone dolls.

I need to sort her hair out, I dropped the ponytail out today it makes it better, although, I am waiting for the next iDome, hopefully Sir Karrot will be able to demo this again.

She's a lovely little thing, and I see now that her hair isnt as thin as it looked on iDOME.

Once Hadassah had found a small place to stand it was time for Saturday's second parcel to be unpacked,
this was the larger doll box of the two, the CST 165 with head C21 Yael, she's goes under the name of April on Lucidtoys website,
I will be calling her April too .
Space for unpacking dolls is terrible at my place.



April's left foot was packed properly just like the right one, I removed some of the packing to look at what I was dealing with,
she's got boltless standing feet, they are firmer silicone up to above the ankle,
I was considering standing the box on the end and walking her out like I do with dolls with bolts in their feet,
I thought better of it when I saw how nice her feet were, I don't what her standing for long periods of time on those nice feet.


Drag the box into the lounge, there is slightly more room in there.


The packaging in mainly air-pack, large bubble and foam, it does do it's job well.





The head is packed tightly between her legs,
the box contains a doll body, her head, one m16 bolt and one wig, absolutely nothing else other than the packing.







I removed the rest of the packaging from around her, checked her over, lifted her out the box and put her on the bed....

There is a tiny little more room in the bedroom.

She came with a light brown long wig, the wig was okay, but not what I had in my mind,
I had my own idea of how I wanted her to look, I have my favourite brands of wigs too, she unfortunately had to wait for wig try on stage later.







April's Silicone is softest on her breasts and butt, it's slightly firmer on the rest her body, her feet are firm still.
















This is my dream doll, I love her, she got a perfect body size and shape and a couple of other things that are damn prefect too that is why I bought her,
I wasn't expecting her to be this good for the money, I know 1.8k is still a lot of money,
although, for a new silicone doll of this standard it's really not a lot, I paid the same price for my first TPE doll a few years back.
Her silicone is excellent, standing feet that you can hardly see the interchange between the firmer layer unlike the Top Sino which should be better.
I was thinking about a Xycolo or a Top Sino, I have met both dolls, they both have a seriously higher price tags, with the exception of DS I don't believe many are worth that sort of money.
