I'm about to do a review of an organic silicone pro but life is hideously distracting and getting busier . . .

However if anyone within striking distance of the middle of south east England would like to pay a visit and inspect her in person they're welcome.

Ray - perhaps an excuse to cross Sussex.

Best wishes

Harem

In theory, the Xycolo skeleton is superior to other more commonly designed skeletons (e.g. maintainability), but it is excessively expensive to assemble and encounters the same wear and tear as other high-tech skeletons. Meaning that, if you are a bit unlucky, certain joints might start to loosen. Great that virtually nothing can break, great that any bone can be replaced with a spare part, but only good enough (especially considering the price) if you don't mind to tighten some joints from time to time.

On the other hand, Xycolo is one of the few manufacturers offering hinged fingers. Again, these fingers are not necessarily more rigid than good finger wires, but such a hand feels much more natural. If you encountered it once, you might not go back to the wobbly finger wire design.

Then you are hooked to - currently - three brands (Gynoid Tech, Doll Sweet Summit & Clonesome, Xycolo). All three very expensive, exquisitely looking, and super delicate. Welcome to the miraculous world of high end dolls ;-)

I have been considering a XYcolo for some time, as I have also a Gynoid and a DS Summit.

These are all certainly exquisite-looking dolls and, I think, more works of art than sex or love dolls per se. I think that some people, who can afford the price of entry, buy them primarily as sex dolls and are then somewhat disappointed when their delicate nature comes to the fore.

Yes, that's a good way to put it. I am trying to indicate that by labeling these high-end models as "artwork-level dolls". Like when you own an original Picasso, you can use it as cutting board, but you might enjoy the artwork longer if you practise some restraint.

The higher price in this range of dolls definitely does not mean: all issues with cheaper dolls are fixed.

And by the way, the Summit and Clonesome models have nasty lead times (2-4 months to make the doll), plus shipping.

The "issues" side of the coin is evident from some of the reports on TDF. I think both the XYcolo and DS summit skeletons are probably the best out there at the moment.

I dream of the day when there'll be a way of adjusting the tightness of their joints without surgical intervention...

Yes, I am aware of the Summit/Clone lead times. Patience is required!

Hi,

by the way, Xycolo just released a new oral head called Angela. She looks like so:

Photos above with XC-163/E body style (= 163cm lb) in 'organic silicone' (XCOS).

Regarding legal safety for this head & body combination: Considering the body measurements and the visually unambiguously adult appearance, we believe that this is a legally safe configuration in most areas of continental Europe and North America. However, some areas like the UK might apply 'obscenity' laws (like they did in case of the notorious separate WM Dolls head which has been seized a couple of years ago).
