Best type of bra?

Hello folks,

I have a 156 cm firedoll with E cup wobbly bits, and I would like to wrap them in a nice bra just for the joy of removing it again. Her measurements:

Bust: 31" / 78cm
Waist: 21" / 53cm

Turns out there are a lot of types of bras. Some of them are only soft material, others have an insert of a hard material (I'm Norwegian and not sure what the English term for these types of bras are, sorry).

Which type of bra would you recommend?

The ones with support material in are usually called under wired. They have a metal wire in to support the wobbly bits. I avoid any with wires incase it damages the doll or leaves a mark.

Then there are padded bra's that have a cushion in to make the wobbly bits look bigger, or maybe to provide more comfort, I dont really know. I did get a padded one and it was too big, so I cut the pads out and it fitted perfect.

I can't help with the size of the bra you need, it can be worked out using the measurements of her wobbly bits and the chest under the wobbly bits but I still have not figured it out for my own dolls yet because I think algebra is easier than working out bra sizes.

Sorry to be not much help.

I think you mean wired and unwired bras

Wired bras have a U shaped piece of wire under the breast to hel maintain a shape, unwired are soft only.

It all comes down to the shape and size of your girl as to what will fit best. If her breasts are very soft and move naturally then a wired bra would be a good choice.

Just make sure the strap size is right for her under-bust measurement, and the cup size is large enough for her boobs or the strap will be pulled away from her body.

Try to get one with adjustable and removable straps, so you don't exert too much pressure on your dolls shoulders whilst she's wearing it.

Padded bra. Like this

The wire in the underwired bras can be removed, if you are worried about it causing damage or if it's preventing the bra from fitting nicely. Like I did with this lace bra. You can see the sleeve where the wire was

Here you can see the slit I made at one end of the wire sleeve. It just needs to be a small snip, then the wire simply slides out

Thank you all for the feedback.

Size I can figure out, but wired/ unwired seems I'll just have to figure out :)

Since the wire can be removed I think I will start with a wired one.

Under-bust measured 53 cm, or approximately 21". This size does not seem to be easily available.. This will not be as easy as I had hoped :)

My emma measures about 22 in under the boobs bit for some reason you have to add 6 in... So her bra is a 28 strap size. This is about the smallest size adult bra you can buy. Finding the right cup size is a bit of trial and error. Emma is advertised as a cup but her bra is a D.
A D cup on a 22in back is completly different to a D cup on a 30in back. I bought a couple of cheap bras from ebay till i found the right size. Hope this helps 👍

...and there's always boob tubes. They have some pretty, patterned stuff out there these days. Back in my day it was all spandex and day-glow ...not that I was complaining too much

what you need is a sister size bra see chart below.
