This thread is for horror fans only and particularly Thomas Harris and his creation Hannibal Lector.
There have been 4 books 5 films and a tv series about Hannibal.one of the films
Red dragon was a remake of the first Manhunter.
The last in the film series was Hannibal released in 2001.
A very brief synopsis will help anyone who hasnt seen it understand my
follow up.
In silence of the lambs fbi special agent Clarice Starling interviewed Lector about a serial killer. He escaped from custody and went on to kill (and eat) again.
In Hannibal he was captured by his only surviving victim but was rescued by agent Starling. However she handcuffed him as the police and fbi closed in.
In order to escape Hannibal cut off his own hand rather than Starlings.
In the final scene we see Hannibal on a plane with a human brain as part of his lunch. A curious young boy asks if he can sample some of Lectors lunch and chooses the brain not really knowing what it is.
This is where my humble offering of a follow up (featuring my girls, ofcourse)
begins.

So the facio-plastic surgery was performed and Lector was soon up and about in the private clinic awaiting the time for the final dressing removal.
He struck up a friendship of sorts with a young woman in the next room the only other patient in residence.
